Vision Inspection System
Front and rear linescan cameras are offered as standard equipment, handling parts from 1608(0603) to SOICs, BGAs, CSPs, and large connectors. An additional part inspection (CCD) camera can be attached at one or both sides to handle 1005(0402)s and 3216s. Parts of up to 150 mm in length can be handled with use of the adjustable frame vision processing.

An enhanced multiple-light source unit allows the machine to switch freely between background and foreground lighting, without changing nozzles. As a result, the QP-351E supports a wider range of parts and supply methods, providing both efficient and flexible machine operation. More importantly, the light switching, separate wavelengths, and filter combinations produce high-definition, relatively noise-free images for consistent and accurate placements.

Placing System
The triple-shafted placing head is capable of holding three parts at once, placing them at a rate of 0.5 seconds per shot. Three single nozzles are selected as required from the nozzles and mechanical chucks held in your choice of two nozzle stations. The QP-351E's versatile nozzle types support both back- and frontlighting, enabling the multiple nozzle replacement for quick changeovers and reduced costs. Each nozzle operates with independent rotational and vertical movement for efficient and accurate placement.

Nozzle Station B1: Standard equipment. Stores 18 regular nozzles and 13 mechanical chucks. Used with a single camera
on the rear side of the machine.
Optional Nozzle Station B12: Stores 18 regular nozzles and 7 mechanical chucks. Used with the two-camera system on the
rear side of the machine.

Device Supply Units
The QP-351E's front and rear supply stations reduce
equipment costs and increase the range of parts that can be supplied. The MFU-6E and PFU-3E can be used interchangeably
on both supply stations to supply parts via mechanical or power feeder. In addition, the rear station can house a
multi-tray unit (MTU-8E or MTU-9E) for supplying parts by tray.
Production continues while replacing feeders, splicing part tapes with the optional splicing tool, or adding new parts to a MTU. Exchanging supply units doesn't require a special tool, cable, or tubing. Furthermore, the QP-351E accepts feeders or trays used on other Fuji machines, increasing your line's versatility and cost efficiency.

1. MFU-6E (multi-feeder unit): Holds 24 - 8 mm tape feeders. Accepts IP-series and QP-242E feeders. A STU (single-tray unit) can be mounted on the
MFU-6E to supply tray parts. Front and rear side option.
2. PFU-3E (power feeder unit): Holds 24 - 8 mm double channel feeders. Accepts QP-132E and NP-series power feeders. Enables
batch changeovers. A STU (single-tray unit) can be mounted on the PFU to supply tray parts. Used on both sides.
3. MTU-8E (multi-tray unit): 50 shelves. Capable of holding up to 100 part types by loading two trays (160 x 330) side by
side. Rear side option.
4. MTU-9E (multi-tray unit): 10 extractable drawers. Capable of holding up to 20 part types by loading two stacks of smaller
trays (160 x 330) onto each shelf. Rear side option.
5. No installation: Front side option.
